Over $5,000 was raised and sent to him! A $0 $15 No Limit Hold'em tournament was held Sunday 10th April, 2005 thanks to the cooperation of BugsysClub, the real money card room at BugsysClub.com. All entry fees collected went to David. PokerSchoolOnline gave an additional $1000 to the total raised. But what is more noteworthy is the overwhelming response from the special folks that make up the PokerSchoolOnline community. PSO members registered knowing they couldn’t play but wanting to donate the $15 entry fee. Others donated extra beyond their entry fee. Some members paid for other PSO members’ entry fees who were not set up to play for real money. Other PSO members created bounty prizes for knocking out certain PSO members. Another PSO member is paying for Dave’s membership fees while he is recovering to pass his recovery time faster. As the member noted, ‘We all know Laughter Is The Best Medicine, and the PSO group is a hoot.’ And many PSO members only know Dave by his PokerSchoolOnline username- HVNSENTMAN from contact at the tables and forums of PokerSchoolOnline! Nearly 200 people played in the fund raising tournament this past Sunday. Even Bugsy himself played in the tournament to lend support. Dave’s wife Sharon posted a heartfelt reply to all the outpouring, ‘It is difficult to put into words the good deeds and good thoughts that abound on this site. We are so thankful and blessed to be a part of this wonderful online poker family. The response to this news has been overwhelming, to say the least. I want to send out a special heartfelt thank you to Mark and Tina for setting all this in motion.’ One PokerSchoolOnline member summed it up: ‘This is why PSO stands heads and shoulders over every other site.
